Abstract:To uphold fundamental principles and break new ground, the construction of ideological and political teaching model in pharmacology on the basis of the teaching objectives of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an essential exploration of the critical questions of "who to train, how to train and for whom to train" in TCM colleges and universities. Guided by three outcomes, firstly, the team sets the ideological and political teaching objectives for pharmacology. Secondly, the teaching situations are created in accordance with Chinese medicine elements to provide the carrier for the integration of Chinese medicine thinking and scientific thinking of modern medicine; thirdly, the ideological and political teaching system of pharmacology is reconstructed for three goals. Finally, a characterized teaching model of pharmacology is formed to meet the need of developing and innovating TCM education in the new era to improve the talent quality of TCM.
