Abstract:In this paper, by analyzing the prescriptions containing Fangfeng and Fangji in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, it is found that Zhang Zhongjing has distinct characteristics for the use of these two traditional Chinese drugs: Fangfeng is good at dispelling wind-evil, and it is often compatible with the exterior-releasing medicinal Guizhi, the qi-tonifying medical Ginseng, the blood-tonifying and blood-activating medicinal Danggui (Shengdi), and the interior-warming medicinal Fuzi (Ganjiang); Fangji is good at inducing diuresis, the prescription is often combined with warming yang to form qi medicinal Guizhi, the qi-tonifying medical Huangqi, dampness-draining diuretic medicinal Fuling; at the same time, the combination of Fangfeng and Fangji can treat the wind-evil mixed syndrome. The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of Fangfeng and Fangji in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, and to summarize the compatibility rules of the two traditional Chinese drugs by Zhang Zhongjing, hoping to provide a basis and reference for the clinical medication of traditional Chinese medicine.
