Abstract:To evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture combined with auricular points in the treatment of sleep quality in patients with perimenopausal insomnia. Methods : In this study, computer retrieval technology was used to conduct a comprehensive search of CNKI, Wanfang data platform, VIP journal full library, Chinese Medical Association journal database, Pubmed and other databases. A randomized controlled trial ( RCT ) of acupuncture combined with auricular points in the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia was retrieved. Two literature searchers independently screened the literature, extracted the data, evaluated the quality of the literature, and evaluated the risk of bias. Finally, Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.4 software for RCTs that met the requirements. Results : A total of 11 literatures were finally included, with a total of 1038 patients with perimenopausal insomnia. The results of Meta-analysis showed that : compared with the control group. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index ( PSQI ) score [ MD =?4.06,95 % CI (?5.25 ~ ?2.87 ), P<0.001 ], follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) ( MD = ?5.86,95 % CI (?10.37~ ?1.35 ), P =0.01), Kupperman score (MD =?2.65,95 % CI (?2.91~ ?2.39 ), P <0.00001), MENQOL ( MD =?7.16,95 % CI(?8.22~?6.09), P < 0.00001 ), total effective rate (MD=4.26,95 % CI (2.77 ~ 6.55), P < 0.00001) were effectively improved in the acupuncture combined with auricular point group. The serum E2 level ( MD = ?10.95,95 % CI (?58.57 ~ 36.67 ), P = 0.65 ) and LH level ( MD = ? 4.18,95 % CI (?9.67 ~ ?1.31 ), P = 0.14 ) were comparable to the control group. Conclusion : Acupuncture combined with auricular point therapy can effectively improve the sleep quality of patients with perimenopausal insomnia, and its curative effect shows significant advantages compared with Chinese patent medicine, western medicine treatment, simple acupuncture or simple auricular point therapy. However, it has no obvious effect on serum E2 and LH levels, which is an effective method for traditional Chinese medicine to treat perimenopausal insomnia. However, due to the limitation of the quantity and quality of the literature, the scientificity and reliability of the final analysis results are still to be discussed, and the mechanism remains to be further explored.
