This article is the therapeutic experience of my director for the treatment of cervical vertigo with modified Wendan decoction. My director treats this disease as Xuanyun which belongs to the knowledge of TCM. He considers the disease zone is deep in body, which results from the degeneration of cervical vertebral and unbalance of neck parenchyma. The clinical symptom contains dizziness, nausea, vomiting etc. Its often induced by fatigue of lowering ones head chronically. This is phlegm-turbidity obstruction caused by deficiency of qi. Treatment is that tonifying qi and resolving dampness and phlegm. Major formula is Wendan decoction. Clinical modification is adding Shu tiao sheng,Ze Xie, centipede, etc.
