Abstract:Objective: To compare the depression between the Nationality Dai and Han then Analysis its reason. Methods: Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) was adopted to survey192 Han people and 179 Dai people. Results: ①The scores of depression on Dai people was significantly lower than Han people(t=434 p<005). ② On depression degree , The scores of no depression status about Dai people(6816%)was significantly higher than Han people(3281%). On mild depression level, the scores of Dai people(2235%)was lower than Han people(3229%). On moderate depression level, the scores of Dai people(893%)was lower than Han people(30.21%).On Severe depression, the scores of Dai people(056%)was lower than Han people(469%). ③The depression scores of religious believers on Dai people was significantly lower than non-believers of Han people(t=1347,p<000). ④ The depression scores of religious believers on Dai people was significantly lower than non-believers of Dai people(t=1106 p<001).Conclusion: The level and degree of depression on Dai people was significantly lower Han people. The level depression on Dai religious believers was significantly lower than non-believers of Da1 and Han. The author Infer the reason was religious beliefs have a certain role in psychological adjustment to Dai people.
