Basing on the understanding of stasis and combining basic theory of TCM with pathogenesis theory and clinical syndrome of stroke,the theory that stasis is the core pathogenesis of Stroke was advanced.The connotation and basis of the theory were totally discussed in three aspects,such as,Qi depression,stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis.A therapy called QuYu ShengXin was proposed to treat stroke based on this theory.
