Objective Clinical-effect observations of floating knife combined needle knife therapy for back muscle fasciitis. Methods Divide 80 patients with back muscle fasciitis into two 40-patient groups randomly—the treatment group and the contrast group. Give the Treatment group with floating knife combined needle knife therapy；give the contrast group with acupuncture. There are 2 treatment-group patients and 1 contrast-group patient failed to complete whole treatments， Compare effects of those two groups after 3 phases. Results The total effective rates of treatment group、contrast group are 100. 0%、79. 5%； The recurrence rates of treatment group，contrast group are 9.7％， 30％. There are statistically significant differences between two groups（P<0. 05）. Conclusion There are clinical efficacy and long-term efficacy of floating knife combined needle knife therapy for back muscle fasciitis.
