Objective To investigate the curative effect of Tian-dan-tong-luo capsule on mild-to-moderate acute cerebral infarction. Methods Ninety cases of mild-to-moderate acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group and control groups， 45 cases in each group， both groups received conventional treatment， while the treatment group was treated with Tian-dan-tong-luo capsule simultaneously. The difference of neural function defect score（NIHSS score）， daily life activities ability score（BI score） and curative effect between two groups were analysed after treatment. Results NIHSS score， BI score and curative effect of treatment group were superior to control group（P<0. 05）. Conclusion Tian-dan-tong-luo capsule is a effective proprietary Chinese medicine on treating mild-to-moderate acute cerebral infarction.
