Objective To summary Clinical experiences of Professor Lv Lijiang in treating lumbar disc herniation by lever positioning technique. Methods Induction and analysis of Principles， methods of operation and the clinical application theory. Results It was found that the features of steadying， accurating， desterity， quickness and few soft tissue injury in operating practices， more importantly， the efficacy of manual therapy was notable which by correct diagnosis and clinical classification. Conclusion Lever positioning technique is a major innovation， the efficacy of treating in lumbar disc herniation was more effective.
