Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Kangshiming mixture in treating age-related macular degeneration. Methods Choose 61 nonexudative age-related macular degeneration patients that induced by therapeutic abortion operation（liver and kidney yin deficiency and deficiency of both qi and blood syndrome）， they are randomly divided into two groups and given different treatments：Kangshiming mixture（treatment group） and Qijudihuang pills（control group）， then count and analyze efficacy of the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy and the efficacy of TCM syndrome in the treatment group were better than that in the control group， there was significant difference between them（P<0. 05）. Conclusion The effect of Kangshiming mixture for nonexudative age-related macular degeneration patients that caused by therapeutic abortion operation（liver and kidney yin deficiency and deficiency of both qi and blood syndrome） was positive， which could improve symptoms and related indicators significantly.
