Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine Peitu Jiedu decoction combined with chemotherapy in treating non-small-cell lung cancer. Methods 60 patients of non-small-cell lung cancer were randomized into two groups. 30 cases in the control group were treated with only chemotherapy（PC regimen）for 4 periods， and the other 30 cases in the study group were treated with chemotherapy and Peitu Jiedu decoction. The changes of symptoms， signs， serum tumor markers and serum VEGF were observed before and after treatment. Results The total Chinese medicine symptom credits of two gourps were significantly different after treatment. Compared with control group， the occurrence of WBC reduction， nausea， vomit， anorexia and maransis in the study group is remarkably lower after treatment. And the serum VEGF concentration is obviously lower after treatment in the study group， which had a significant difference comparing with control group. Conclusion Peitu Jiedu decoction in treating non-small-cell lung cancer can get satisfied therapeutic effect.
