Objective To study the intervention function of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on the level of Hcy in plasma of coronary artery disease. Methods 80 patients with Hyperhomocysteinemia of coronary artery disease were divided into folic acid group（40 cases） and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction group（40 cases）The levels of Hcy in plasma were determined before and after being treated. Results The total response rate in the Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction group was 95. 0％， which was significantly higher than 70. 0％ in the folic acid group（P<0. 05）. After being treated， the levels of Hcy in plasma in the folic acid group（40 cases）and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction group decreased significantly（P<0. 05）。After the treatment in the three groups by analysis of variance was statistically significant（P<0. 05）， Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction group than in the folic acid group were more obvious changes， there was statistical significance（P<0. 05）. Conclusion Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction could obviously decrease the plasma Hcy levels in patients with coronary heart disease of high Hyperhomocysteinemia.
