Objective To observe the acupuncture “eight needle” around the treatment of facial paralysis clinical curative effect. Methods Choosing 90 patients with peripheral facial paralysis， the 45 patients with observation group and control group， respectively， in the conventional western medicine treatment for “eight” needle and routine acupuncture therapy， 1 times a day， 7 days for a period of treatment， treatment after four treatment based on the House-Brackmann（H-B） assessed the effect of facial nerve function evaluation classification system. Results The control group， effective rate was 82. 2% in treatment group effective rate was 95.6%， compared two groups of efficient， statistically significant difference（P<0.05）. Conclusion Acupuncture “eight needle” god is able to improve the clinical therapeutic effect of peripheral vertigo patients with facial paralysis， is a worthy of promotion and effective method in treatment of surrounding facial paralysis.
