Glucicirticoid is the important drug， however， it has many side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine increase effects and decrease toxicity at different stages of glucicirticoid treating systemic lupus erythematosus. Jiedu Quyu Zishen decoction is the crystallization of professor FAN Yongsheng’ s clinical experience for many years. Clinical observation， in the process of glucocorticoid treatment， patients have different clinical manifestation in the different stages. Through treatment based on syndrome differentiation， we change the basic decoction（Jiedu Quyu Zishen decoction， so that to increase effects and decrease toxicity. Meanwhile， it can not only reduce the dosage of glucicirticoid， but also clear away side effects.
