Objective Review in recent years the research progress of acupuncture in the treatment of cervical vertigo. Methods Access to a large number of related literature in the past 5 years， summarizes the research status of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of cervical vertigo from combination of filiform needle， needle knife and knife needle and Catgut Implantation at acupoint， acupoint injection， moxibustion， acupuncture and medicine. Results Acupuncture treatment of cervical vertigo by dilating blood vessels， reducing vascular resistance and increase blood flow， to improve the microcirculation and brain support has good curative effect. Conclusion Acupuncture in the treatment of cervical vertigo and fair from the analysis of the duration of the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion， stimulus intensity and other factors， effective acupuncture point selection， evaluation of long-term effect of the therapy mechanism of further in-depth study.
