This paper is preceded with Zhang Zhongjing’s treatise on “ShuiQi disease” and miscellaneous diseases, summarizes, sorts out and analyzes it, and preliminarily discusses the law of syndrome differentiation and treatment of “ShuiQi disease”. Zhongjing’s major therapeutic principles of sweating， promoting diuresis and purging water were originated from “opening the pores” , “cleansing the bladder” , “removing the stagnation and wastes” in the Essentials from the Golden Cabinet’s. Zhang Zhongjing’s treatment of “ShuiQi disease” pathology, method, prescription and medicine has been used for thousands of years. it lays the foundation of the differentiation of lung、spleen and kidney for the later ages. As the same time, it expands the way of thinking in treatment of hydropsy.
