Abstract:Objective To analyze the rules of acupoint selection in treatment of Alzheimer's disease with acupuncture and moxibustion in China and abroad based on data mining. Methods The published literature of treating Alzheimer's disease with acupuncture and moxibustion was retrieved from electronic databases from building data to December 31, 2020, including CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, Web of Science, Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane Library. Acupuncture prescription database was established in Microsoft Excel 2019. The frequency of acupoints, meridians were analyzed, and the association rules of acupoints and meridians were analyzed by IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0. Results A total of 182 literatures were included, including 308 acupuncture prescriptions, 96 acupoints, and the total frequency of acupoint use was 1928 times. Among them, the main meridians selected are the DU meridian and the three Yang meridians of the foot, acupoints are mainly distributed on the head, face, lower limbs and upper limbs,the acupoints with the highest cumulative frequency of application are Baihui(DU 20), Sishencong (EX-HN 1), Zusanli (ST 36) crossing points in the specific acupoints were commonly selected; the most frequently used group was Baihui(DU 20) and Dazhui(DU 14). Conclusion Treating Alzheimer's disease by acupuncture and moxibustion in China and abroad was advocated the use of DU meridian and three Yang meridians; Acupoint selection is mainly based on proximal acupoint selection and far and near matching acupoints, pay attention to the use of specific points, especially the intersection points.
