Electric nape acupuncture is an acupuncture method that combines traditional acupuncture and electrical stimulation. It is widely used in the treatment of neurological diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, and ENT diseases and has significant effects. This article summarizes the research related to electrical acupuncture in recent years, elaborates the mechanism of electrical acupuncture, and further analyzes the application basis of electrical acupuncture from the perspective of TCM theory, and summarizes the clinical experience of many physicians in selecting acupoints. This paper analyzes the clinical application of electrical acupuncture from diseases such as insomnia, bulbar palsy, sudden deafness, and vocal cord paralysis, and hopes to provide new ideas and new methods for the treatment of clinical diseases.
