Yi nationality medicine in the process of cognition and studying the human body and diseases, has absorbed the philosophical thoughts of the Yi nationality culture. The Yi nationality culture is an important constituent part of Chinese culture as well. The process of the formation of Yi nationality medicine theory, was influenced by the classical literature philosophical thoughts of Zhou Yi which is an important part of Chinese culture. The formation process of Yi nationality medicine was affected by the theory of Yin Yang the eight diagrams and Hetu Luoshu, which originated from Yi nationality medicine, as well as the characteristics of Zhou Yi in epistemology and methodology.
