Abstract:Objective To investigate the content changes of isoorientin in different producing areas, parts, growth periods, and harvest periods, so to provide reference and application for the follow-up studies of Campylotropis trigonoclada (Franch.) Schindl. Methods The content of isoorientin in C. trigonoclada (Franch.) Schindl in three major producing areas of Dali, Chuxiong, and Yuxi of Yunnan province, as well as this plant of different parts, growth years, and harvest periods collected from Yuxi, were determined by HPLC. Results There are differences in the content of isoorientin in the Campylotropis trigonoclada(Franch.) Schindl from different producing areas. Among them, the content of isoorientin in C. trigonoclada(Franch.) Schindl produced in Yuxi is 190 μg/g, which is "better than those produced in Dali and Chuxiong. There are significant differences in the content of isoorientin in different parts of the Campylotropis trigonoclada (Franch.) Schindl .The content of isoorientin is the highest in flowers, followed by leaves, branches, main branches and roots. From 1-year-old to 3-year-old, the change trend of isoorientin content in the Campylotropis trigonoclada(Franch.) Schindl is not obvious; from early July to the beginning of November, the content of isoorientin in the Campylotropis trigonoclada (Franch.) Schindl increased gradually. Conclusion The content changes of isoorientin in different producing areas, parts, growth years and harvest period of C. trigonoclada (Franch.) Schindl were preliminarily revealed, which provided reference for the quality control research and popularization and application of C. trigonoclada.
