Abstract:Erectile dysfunction is one of the common diseases in andrology, and in recent years, with changes in factors such as lifestyle rhythm and dietary habits, its incidence has gradually increased, severely affecting the quality of life of patients and their partners. The concept of "Yu"(stagnation) was first mentioned in the "Huangdi Neijing"(The Yellow Emperors Classic of Medicine), and later, Zhu Danxi elaborated on the theory of the "Six Stagnations".This paper delves into Zhu Danxis theory of "Six Stagnations" and analyzes the connection between erectile dysfunction and the "Six Stagnations" theory, further examining the characteristics and pathological mechanisms of erectile dysfunction.Qi, blood, phlegm, fire, dampness, and diet can all cause stagnation. The six stagnations interact with each other, making them difficult to cure. Based on this, the article combines the concept of "treating the undiseased" and proposes to "regulate Qi stagnation, prevent blood stagnation, treat blood stagnation, and address other stagnations", providing a theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction.
