Abstract:Objective Based on the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and meridian theory, this study aims to explore the effect of Dragon pot therapy on the syndrome of chronic heart failure patients. Methods 80 patients admitted to Yulin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional anti heart failure drugs, while the treatment group received a combination of conventional drug therapy and dragon pot therapy. Observe the changes in 6-minute walk test(6MWT), NYHA heart function grading, clinical symptoms, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores before and after treatment in two groups. Results After treatment, the 6-minute walk test (6MWT), NYHA heart function grading, clinical symptoms, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of both groups of patients were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05), and the improvement degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion Dragon pot therapy can effectively improve symptoms such as chest tightness, asthma, palpitations, and fatigue in patients with chronic heart failure, and enhance their quality of life.
